A Year of Innovation and Creativity: Miami Design Shop's 2023 Review
As we bid farewell to 2023, Miami Design Shop takes a moment to reflect on a year filled with exciting projects, creative collaborations, and the successful execution of groundbreaking events. From the 11:11 building on South Beach to the shopping mecca of Brickell City Centre, our fabrication team has left an exciting mark on the Miami landscape.
One of our standout achievements this year was the South Beach JP Morgan event, where we were tasked with creating a VIP experience for their corporate retreat. Our team rose to the occasion, and in just three days constructed an elaborate vine wall and entrance structure that not only provided privacy but also served as an impressive canvas with delightful ambiance. The result was a seamless blend of sophistication and privacy with an ocean view, leaving event attendees with an unforgettable experience that perfectly encapsulated the essence of JP Morgan.
The Delta Art event at South Beach’s 11:11 building was another highlight for Miami Design Shop, showcasing our commitment to community collaboration. Teaming up with local artists, we played a pivotal role in bringing their sculptures to life, lending a hand in the fabrication of their work to be displayed in a dynamic and engaging manner. The synergy between our fabrication expertise and the artists' creative visions resulted in a visually stunning display that captivated audiences for a one day only public display during Art Basel and celebrated the vibrant artistic community that defines Miami.
And, as the holiday season approached, Miami Design Shop spread cheer throughout Brickell City Centre with our Santa's Village Christmas installation. Transforming the bustling urban shopping center into a winter wonderland, our team crafted a festive and enchanting experience featuring Santa’s workshop, North Pole Post Office, and a giant Coo-Coo Clock that chirps every 15 minutes! Our Christmas installation became a must-visit destination, spreading joy and warmth during the festive season.
In addition to our local projects, Miami Design Shop expanded its reach beyond city limits this year, exemplifying our commitment to making a positive impact on a global scale. At the end of the year, a small contingent of the MDS team embarked on a heartwarming journey to Colombia, to make a difference in the lives of children. Working with Shakti House in Miami & Por el Pais in Colombia we organized a toy donation and Christmas party with Magician, Food and music that brought smiles to the faces of 500 young kids in Medellin, spreading a little bit of joy abroad this holiday season.
As we look back on these and many other projects throughout the year, Miami Design Shop takes pride in the creativity, innovation, and dedication that our team brings to each endeavor.
